Day 11 -- Boys and Guns

While the girls were home enjoying calm and quiet and searching the pond for tadpoles, the boys and Joe were attending to their favorite of all pastimes and enjoying the National Firearms Museum (and enjoying delicious fare away from the watchful eyes of Mom).

In addition, they visited the Federal Bureau of Printing and Engraving -- meeting both boys joys: guns and coins :-)

Apparently, this is a fabulous place with a HUGE assortment of guns, historical and otherwise. In fact, the original gun owned by John Alden - member of the Mayflower! -- was housed in this museum.

They had a great time, ate solely junk food, stunk up the car and enjoyed being bachelors for the day :-)
