Day 7 -- Alive and well and on the road again

Well, everyone who laughed at me for my tornado concern is no longer laughing :-) We had the sirens alarm last night and had a tornado touch down within 10 miles of our RV. Needless to say, it was a bit of a rough night, but we got sleep in between running into Nana's home and holding on as the RV rocked and swayed and rain pelted the roof and sides. The good news is -- the windshields are now officially clean and bug free! :-)

We had a lovely visit with Nana and Myron and enjoyed our time in Indiana. Today we head through windy weather toward the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky. Pictures to follow!

SO glad you are all safe....I've lived through those 'watches' and 'warnings' and 'run to the shelter' nights...no fun!! I'm praying the rest of your trip will be safe, fun and a true blessing from the Lord. Love, The Price Family

Creation Museum?, how exciting!! Ken Ham is coming to our PA Homeschool conference (CHAP)in May, and we are looking forward to hearing him speak.
The girls and I spent the morning in the basement due to many tornado warnings. Being from Fl, I share your concern! lad you are all safe and sound; enjoy your day!

A Peek Into Josiah's Day

Right now we are driving out over the plains of Wyoming, which I believe it is the prettiest state in the continental U.S. Alaska is prettier, but even it doesn't have as much diversity of landscapes as Wyoming. Tonight, Lord willing, will be our last night sleeping in the R.V. Although I have enjoyed our trip, it will be nice to go back into the routine of things. Right now it is 4:20 in the afternoon, and pouring rain. Isaac and Isabelle are in the back, either sleeping or playing on their electronic devices, Mom is staring into space, and Dad is listening to music through is headphones. I surmise that it is most likely Johnny Cash, since it has a pretty good beat, the way Dad is nodding his head, and because he has recently been asking to listen to it.

The Trip According to Isabelle

"I have a sore throat. I'm really tired. I went to the Laura Ingalls museum and got an apron. You might not think that's the most interesting thing, but for me it is. You see, I've always wanted a nurse's apron. And this one I felt was just right. When I get home I'm going to see what it looks like with the "nurse" dress I have that has been needing and begging for an apron to me. I can hardly wait to see what it looks like when I get back home. I'm going to go change the bandaid on my finger now (received from a cut while whittling with her pocket knife). Bye."
